I wear these to lounge around in my cool Wisconsin house in the winter as well as casual wear that is comfortable and warm in this climate. I am 5'2 1/2" and 106 lbs and the XS looks great. I did not even need to have them hemmed and I planned to do so. They are flattering, too!
These tights are much more than tights. The fabric is heavy and drapes well enough to dress up with a tunic or the Kurta from Ibex. But they are equally suited to yoga or even winter running for those who don't mind looser ankles. I xc skied in these, did yoga in them, then lounged for hours knitting in them, and the next night dressed them up with a tunic and my hair up. they do stretch out with
Had to have them shortened - wish ibex offered different lengths! First time I wore them, physical therapy appt. was on my agenda, and my PT guy wanted to know all about my pants so he could buy a pair for his wife. Very comfortable, like sweats, but nice enough to wear pretty much anywhere. Dog hair sticks, though, so choose your color wisely or carry a lint brush!
These pants are comfortable and stylish and can go between casual and dressier without missing a beat. I wear mine with a Carrie FZ and know I look great - everyone tells me so! I am 5'7", 120 lbs and lean. I bought the small size to fit through the hip and the pant hits just at the top of my foot. My only wish would be for about 1/2"-1" more in length so I could wear a variety of footwear wit
I have owned a pair of these pants for almost two years and just had to give a pair to my daughter. A tunic and some jewelry dresses them up for a night out. A shak zip-up and slippers make them the best lounge wear for the winter. I do notice that the inner thighs of mine are thinning...too soon really. They also wash and hang to dry beautifully.
Contrary to other opinions - I think they are the perfect length. I'm 5'8" and weight 133 lbs - the medium was a loose fit, bought the small. They are form fitting but not tight, and the perfect length with hiking boots or gym shoes. I also plan to wear them traveling - so comfy and much better looking than yoga pants or sweatpants.
I'm going to enjoy these pants. I"m familiar with the wool fabric from the Ibex Loose Tights, which I basically spend the winter in. I bought these because I have lost weight, needed some smaller pants, and these were available in the smaller size and seemed similar to the ones I've been wearing for so long. They are terrific, and I'm going to buy more.
Am 5'6" and 130. The size small fits perfectly, and the length is just right, unlike other Ibex trousers, which have been too short. I bought the black and heather grey, and so far they are wearing beautifully. Great pants for loungewear or the gym. Warm but loose enough to let your legs and hips breathe. Way to go, Ibex!
I've been wearing these around the house, out to a casual breakfast in a blizzard, shoveling snow, skiing, and running. They've performed perfectly! I would not wear them to work though; far too casual for an office. However, I do wear them to and from the gym in lieu of sweatpants. Fast becoming my weekend throw-on pants.
You can look good at the gym and wear them out! These are super comfortable for yoga, cold weather running and under snow gear. And the bonus is you look good in them. They pants are more snug and shorter than the Izzi so they are more sporty. They washed well on wool cylce and line dry nicely. Love, love, love them.
I love the texture of this fabric. It is so soft and comfortable. I am 5ft 2and1/2in tall. The pant is long for me as most pants are. The waist band is a little loose too. Well, I am a petite person. However, the feel is exceptionally comfortable.
Just bought my second pair of these tights. I wear them as a midlayer for very cold snowshoeing and hiking. When it's really cold I wear them around the house (I'm turning down the thermostat & saving on my heating bill!)
These are such comfortable and stylish pants, especially in black. The fit is very flattering. The waistband does not bind and feels true to size. I wish the rise was a bit lower and I wish they came in petite. Luckily, I have a good tailor. I'd love to see another style with the same cut as these, but with cool back pockets like blue jeans and a lower rise.
I live in a cold, casual climate. Have two pair of the Loose Tight Ibex pant, and can't say enough about their versatility, durability and comfort. In the winter, I wear them almost every day to work. Thought I would try a narrower leg with the Sport Tight, and have no disappointments in the product. Also felt confident ordering directly from Ibex. Excellent all around.
These pants are very hard to take off and I sometimes wear them to bed. I appreciate the length: I am 5'8" and although often average size pants are too short for me, these seem just right. The fabric is so breathable they can be worn year-round. Perfect for travel --> I'm sitting in an air-conditioned airport in July, wearing them right now, and couldn't be happier or more comfortable!
I am a massage therapist and I wanted a pant which would move with me and be comfortable all day. this pant is great! it is slightly itchy that is my only complaint however i plan to have another pair for winter work.
I simply love these simple pants. I'm pretty cold blooded, and they keep me toasty warm, but never too hot. They look good enough to dress up for an international flight, and can take me from yoga to dinner feeling comfortable AND chic. I need another pair so I don't have to keep doing the wash so that I can wear them again...
I am 5'10" tall and weigh 127lbs. I ordered size small realizing they would probably be too short out of the box. Indeed, the inseam measured shy of 31" and they looked like "floods" when I tried them on. I have had great success "growing" wool products in both sleeve length and inseam and these did not disappoint. I washed them by hand and they easily stretched to yield my perfect 33.5" inseam
I received these pants right before a weekend of camping. I put them on out of the box and wore them for two days and also slept in them. They are the perfect length for me, 5'8", and kept me warm and comfortable. The only reason I changed out of them, was my Lab/Airedale mix was with me and they did pick up some fur but when I came home they washed beautifully.
These are the straight leg version of the izzy pants. They only have one pocket but it is more practical than other pockets. I did have to hem the legs, not a problem. Love to be warm and comfortable as well as stylish. Thank Ibex for making winter fun.
More like slim pull-on pants than tights, Energy Sport Tights are as attractive as they are functional. Generous in length, I had min hemmed. The quality and style are appropriate for work, but also excellent for weekend slacking, outdoor chores or power walking in 39-degree drizzle. Much of the winter here is cold and damp, NOT the kind of climate where jeans feel good. Thanks, Ibex, for giving u
These pants are equally great as lounge-around wear and incredibly active wear. I'm not an "athlete" any more, but I stay plenty active, and these pants can handle it, and can take the wear and tear that I inflict on them.
These are a bit too heavyweight for the gym and a little too casual for work, but they're great for running errands, walking in the park, travel, and of course lounging on the sofa. I'm just under 5' 7''/125 lbs. and got the small -- the fit is a tiny bit looser on me than I'd like and the inseam is just barely long enough. Craftsmanship seems good and I love that Ibex makes so much of their clot
I bought the boot leg tights first and then these. I was expecting more of a legging style fit. The fit is very similar to the boot tight But I decided to keep them anyway. They are fine to wear over boots, and look a bit more ladylike than leggings. While lightweight and warm, they do add a bit of bulk, much like wool trousers. They are casual like sweats, but you can easily dress them up fo
I love these pants! They are perfect for everything! Lounging at home, turning down the thermostat, sleeping, walking the dog, running errands and combined with a jacket, sweater and nice boots are even sufficient to wear to the office. They also are figure flattering and while I am an avid athlete, I could lose a pound or two.
I purchased these hoping to find an attractive alternative to sweat pants. I wanted something fitted but not hot pink cotton/spandex with glitter across the butt. I realize there are a lot of "yoga pants" out there but I'm trying to avoid 100% synthetic clothing. It just doesn't manage repeated wear or sweat nearly as well as wool and it is never as comfortable on the skin. I wanted a pair of pant
I had been looking for a warm version of everyday yoga pants - to wear around town, in the house, and in the car - and these fit the bill. They are very comfortable and warm; I got the medium sized pant (I am 5' 6", 125 lbs) - so that when sitting in the car on ski trips the waist would be roomy. The only problem that I've had with them is how very long they are. I hemmed them an inch before washi
I'm 5'6", 128 lbs and the small fit perfectly out of the box, w/just the right length (I find other Ibex pants a bit short). Love them, however, they stretch out nearly a full size, and don't really snap back to a true small, even after washing them on the wool setting in my machine. They shrink back a little, but are still a touch big. I will still keep them, as they are great workout/lounge p
the material at the crotch wore thin in less than a season of regular use. It also 'ran' like a pair of nylons. I don't think I put them through any undue stress. I would buy again but on sale due to short life span.
Okay, I'm 5'9" and my inseam measures 32" crotch to floor. I ordered the Medium for the extra length knowing I would have to take them in b/c the cut of these pants are suppose to be fitted (if you don't want curve huggers, I suggest the Loose Tights). Well the Medium was still too short for me so I let the hem out to gain an extra inch and now after I took them in to fit properly they are just ab
Great, comfortable to lounge about. Haven't worn them skiing (skating) yet, but plan to. A little more form fitting than I was hoping for but I guess they are called the sport tight. Overall great purchase.
All the reviews were very helpful when deciding to purchase this product for a trip to Paris I recently took. I needed to pack light with only a carry on bag for a six day trip. I wore them on the plane going over and everyday with long under wear underneath and they were great. We walked a great deal and the temp was high in the 30's with no sun. I am surprised how warm they are based on how
Aside from the Izzi pant this is the best pant Ibex makes for athletic women who aren't super-skinny. I wish I bought this tight before I bought the Loose Tight II. While I like them, these tights are more flattering and a little lighter in weight making them an overall more useful pant for my lifestyle.
Used these on a cool (but not windy) cross-country ski, morning pilates, walking around town, house lounging. The weigth and feel of the fabric is awesome - my only concern is that they have stretched out a bit after a few wearings. They are very long too, which is pretty great for me, but might be a problem for someone shorter - I have the size Medium, and I am 5'10" and 140 lb.
I have the Izzi pant in Small. I ordered the Energy Sport pant in Medium, hoping the length would be better. I am 5'6 1/2, 127 lbs, average length legs. The length might be okay if you only wore flats all the time. In boots or clogs--embarrassingly short. The Medium is too big but the length is okay. I thought I'd try the Small once they went on sale--way too short. The cut is good, and I l
I have 3 other Ibex pant styles that I love and that have worn so well-- but I am disappointed with the Energy pant. Although I bought these pants to wear for work, not sports, these have easily snagged, and after a month already look a bit worn. And they stretch out, and have not sprung back to shape even with washing and drying on wool.
