Mid-weight jersey 18.5 micron 100% Zque™ New Zealand Merino wool 195 g/m2 Garment Weight (oz): 7.2 oz
Finely tuned 18.5 micron New Zealand Merino at 195g/m2. We designed this fabric from the need of a weight in-between our Woolies at 150g/m2 and our Zepher at 230g/m2. The weight of the fabric resembles that of a high quality t-shirt. It works well worn next to skin, as a baselayer or on its own.

The Indie Crew is a great, all around long-sleeve top. The length in the sleeves and torso is just perfect (I am 5'8" and have a hard time finding sleeves that come all the way to the wrist). The detail on the sleeves is a nice touch and I get comments on this top all the time.
I love this product primarily because it fits like a glove, a Gorilla glove that is. Finally a product made from natural materials AND is long enough in the sleeves for my Gorilla arms without being huge in the torso!
This shirt is warm, soft and lightweight. I can wear it as a next to skin layer without feeling bundled up. It is nice to wear alone too. The cut and color are just right. It is not itchy!! It washes up nicely and dries fairly quickly. BEST OF ALL. . .it doesn't get smelly like all the man made fabric shirts I've purchased! I've wasted so much $$ on shirts that stink to high heaven after a da
I love this shirt. I wear it as much as possible. It is comfortable, doesn't wrinkle, looks great, and I feel I can teach in it, or wear it to a concert. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that I have to have an undershirt or I feel itchy. Usually a tank top does the trick.
Living in the Pacific N.W. means unpredictable weather days even in the summer. The Indie Crew is what I grab first on my way out the door to wear as an extra layer over my T-shirt. There is enough room to wear over a base layer, but not too much that I can't wear it alone. I am very pleased with the quality and style and look forward my future Ibex purchases.
Nice shirt, not too heavy and not too thin (so it's not a base layer, you can wear that with jeans or shorts..). I like that it's not cut too figure hugging like most of the other ones. I wear size M and I do not think of myself as overweight but sometimes I like to wear a shirt that is a bit loose.
Love it, bought another one in turquoise ... that's a excellent color
I have the problem of most women's shirts being too short in the waste and sleeves. This shirt fits like a glove. It is the perfect material for hiking because it packs small, doesn't smell when I have been working, and is really good at regulating my body temperature. An added bonus is that it is made in the USA. I love this shirt!
This is my favorite sweater so far. I have the black and the salsa and would love to add a few more colors. Which ever sweater I wear to work on Friday ends up being my sweater for the whole weekend. I have even slept in these sweaters they are so comfy. I normally wear jeans but I could easily dress these up with a skirt and go just about anywhere. I am not overweight but I don't have abs of st
Love this crew. I get cold easily so I wear this as an extra layer on really cold days. I also wear it alone. I wear it out to my kids sporting events and I use it as a layer when I run outside on cold days. Best thing about it-it doesn't smell after sweating in it. I like the sporty stripe down the side. Looks good with the gray Lizzi pants. I'm 5'7", 135 lbs. and the medium is perfect.
This is a perfect all around long sleeve for all season wear. It's a little bit looser fit than the Zephyr I have, and lighter, so it's really a great weight for just hanging around, or using as a general use long sleeve that is not too warm, but keeps ya cool too. Terrific bold color for those who love their bold blues and softer than the Zephyr by a mark (tho the Zephyr is super comfy too, just
I am a 38C and really don't like tight-fitting tops even as a base layer under a jacket. This shirt in XL is perfect! It's not so baggy that it looks sloppy or like a tee shirt, but not so tight that it shows every midriff bulge--which I also hate! I tend to overheat esp when exercising (I bike, hike and run) so I can't wear too heavy a layer of warm clothing. The Indie is absolutely perfect in we
This is my second Indie Crew. For some reason, this style runs a bit small, though, so this time I ordered a medium. I am 5'7", 125lbs and small-busted. I'm usually a small in Ibex, but this shirt in small fit too tightly around the shoulders and had very little wiggle room all around. That said, it is a fantastic layer for cool days, and light enough to go up to about 70 degrees.
Another versatile IBEX piece! My third Indie Crew. My newest purple can be dressed up or down. The fabric is sooo beautiful, comfortable & durable. I use them as a layer or alone. I traveled with 2 and they stayed lovely. Easy to pack. Keep the colors coming, I will buy more!
Today is my first time wearing this great shirt. Since I always wash clothes before I wear them, I watched carefully to see how well it would behave. Virtually no wrinkles after hanging to dry. The fit it perfect! For this tall girl, clothes are often a bit short, but not this one; body length and sleeve length give just the right coverage. It drapes nicely and doesn't twist like so many knit fabr
Got one in the charcoal color, and it's seen a lot of use. You never look sloppy wearing this top. The stripe down the sleeve keeps it firmly in the casual arena, but for daytime or athletic wear, the weight and comfort can't be beat. It's fairly close-fitting, so if you want a bit of drape, go a size up. I'm 5'7", 125-130 lbs, small bust, and a small fits fine.
I've long been a fan of the woolies weight and the zephyr and this is my first time using the indie fabric. It is thinner than the zephyr line but smoother on more tightly woven than the woolies line. This particular top is form fitting and sporty in looks so I wouldn't wear it out. It is great as a base layer for cross country skiing and other aerobic winter activities. Sometimes
Handy base layer -- a good weight for cool evening runs and for wearing all day. The problems I have with it are minor -- the sleeves seem to be cut more narrowly than the rest of the fit. However, it's stretched out nicely thus far, although it hasn't been washed yet.
I wasn't too fond of the contracting stripe down the sleeve or some of the colors to choose from but as a layering piece to go underneath a jacket or sweater this top really works well for my needs. It feels soft against my skin. Because of the design fit, not loose fitting to bunch up, this piece slides easily under my heavier tops, sweaters and jackets. This is great basic layering item to ad
It's been in the 90's for the last 5 days here in Michigan. Other than trying it on I haven't had an opportunity to wear/wash it (thus the 4 rating).
First evaluation: fabric-soft and nice weight, color combo ideal for many occasions, and the fit-perfect for me. The reviews and the discounted price convinced me to buy, not just look at the Ibex products.
I bought this top because I love the stripe-back long sleeve so much, but was hoping that a denser fabric might translate to greater durability. So far I want to wear it everyday (and therefore should probably buy more).
With the black stripe on each sleeve, it is too casual for anything but casual wear. Fabric is nice, but it is still a little prickly. Not as comfortable as wearing cotton. Also, for the price, I would like to see something without a logo. Recommend only as very casual wear.
