Love the side zip - very stylish. Also really love the soft fleece interior. This works great for everyday use over an Ibex tee and also for active use. A definite winner and I'd love to get another color!
I have this hoody in the sky blue and the vino rojo. I love the asymmetrical cut. The inside is really soft. I find both color hoodies to be stretchy, although not as stretchy as some other Ibex products. Yes the left pocket is smaller but it's big enough to warm my hand in. It's warm but still thin enough to wear as a mid layer. Nice long sleeves which I love.
I can't say enough about this sweater. So excellent with the off set zipper so never cuts into your neck. Nicely fitted to the body so heat stays in without feeling tight. Always a fan of the arm thumb hole. And the color ROCKS!!! I always feel great when I wear it. LOVE THIS SWEATER!!!!
This is my favorite purchase from Ibex. It is slimmer fitting than other tops I've ordered in the same size (M) that are described as "regular fit" (mentioned in some other reviews here too)- I love it. This is a fabulous lightweight piece that is perfect for cold weather wear. It is also stylish enough that I end up wearing it all the rest of the time too. The side zipper is quite flattering.
I love the asymmetrical zip--it adds some interest to an otherwise simple piece of clothing. While it is simple, it is very well made and extremely warm--I've been pairing it with woolies on the sub-zero days this winter, and it keeps me nice and warm.
The hood is a funny shape and makes me look a bit like a scuba diver when it's on, but I'm glad for the shape when I'm riding on a cold day--it f
I hope Ibex doesn't think because of a few reviews criticizing the side zip that they shouldn't carry this, I prefer side zips as do many friends, it feels great to open on the side so the cold doesn't hit you squarely on the chest when you only have it half-closed. Also, it is extremely flattering to a woman's figure. I wish there were more side-zip sweater styles to choose from!
So, yeah, when the zipper is open, this sweater hangs a little oddly, and the pocket on the left is a bit smaller than the one on the right. My remedy: wear this fabulously soft, warm hoody zipped up, and put smaller items in the left pocket! 'Cause this little item looks great zipped up. And it's soft, fuzzy inside, warm and inviting.
I wear medium in all Ibex except for the Nomad, which for som
Didn't take this off for 2 weeks straight after receiving it! Bought to wear while xc skiing but alas, no snow. I'veeven worn it to work with a skirt and received many compliments. Would like one in each color!
I use the Nomad Hoody for wearing around the house, all winter long, as well as a light jacket. Most complaints are about the asymetrical design, and for my part, I think it is interesting --I have received several comments about it, and it is nice to have something different from every other hooded sweatshirt. The one pocket is smaller, but totally functional. The fleece interior is incredibly
Before I bought this jacket I was a bit skeptical based off of the reviews. I was concerned about the pockets (yes, the left pocket is not as deep as the right pocket) but the difference does not bother me. I have found that the left sleeve is slightly longer as a result of the asymmetrical design, so the thumb holes take some getting used to. But you'll get used to them! I absolutely love the fee
I drive a lot and it is comfortable to wear in the cold, yet not bulky. It looks great and the hood protects me from the cold, wind and rain when getting out of the car. I know I look good wearing it, so I am extremely happy with my purchase and wear it often.
I purchased this about a month ago... and since then I dont want to take it off! It is so very soft and snug! I usually wear a base layer with this as my outer under a down coat in everything below -10c weather. It has performed very well! Plus it looks very stylish. :) The only problem with fit is that I had to buy it a size larger than my normal size and the lower arms, midway between my elbo
This hoody runs a bit small. I purchased a small and medium and kept both to use for different purposes. My arms are long and the medium fit much better for my arm length. The anvil grey and heather grey are both great colors, and the softness is fantastic. The contrast piping is a nice touch. I wear this hoody a lot and would buy it again if mine ever wears out.
I first got a black one for myself and a women's size for my wife. Hers did not fit her well so she quickly stole mine and loves it. I then had to wait for an exchange to get mine and now I am stuck on mine. I wear it every night. It is incredibly warm, but not too hot. It is great for night walks in the chilly air, the hood is perfect.
This cozy, soft hoodie is a great layer for hiking and camping, as well as bumming around town. I wish it had a more flattering cut, but it's still a great piece. It seems to run pretty small in the shoulders. I have several size medium Ibex hoodies and I needed this one in a large, which maybe explains why it's not as flattering since it's too large in other areas. Because of the offset zipper th
I love the nomad fabric. I got the hood because I lost my nomad 1/2 snap and sadly ibex does not make 5his anymore. This jacket would be 100% awesome, but due to the offset zipper you cannot comfortable fit your left hand in the pocket. Awesome fabric, I have found it to be the most durable of the active fabric ibex makes. Would recommend it only because there is no other no.ad option currently.
I love the color and I have the blue. However, it is not stretchy at all, so size up if you need to layer. The left pocket is funny because it is very small for warming the hand. Love the asymmetrical touch! Wish it is more stretchier.
I got this to run in cold weather and tele skiing as my warm layer. I love the fit/color/thumb holes and contrasting trim. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because when it's fully zipped, with my base layer, it is little tight on my throat. I am not sure the side zip adds any real purpose excpet that it makes it look interesting.
I don't have much "cold weather" to measure the warmth of this product through. However, I have mild eczema and it felt okay against my skin (I had to return a number of products unfortunately because they were too itchy). I like the creative asymmetric flare, but it sadly sacrificed the left pocket (so I don't enjoy putting my hands in my pockets - but they can store things). I like how all? t
I love the fleecy fabric of the Nomad, but ultimately I opted to replace it with a Carrie Hoodie because I just couldn't cope with the way the Nomad is cut. I usually wear an XS in Ibex, and sometimes opt for a S when I want a looser fit for layering. The Nomad felt restrictive in both S and XS--the sleeves seem tight for something that is meant to be a mid/outer layer. I really can't abide the as
This hoody is lovely mostly, but the asymmetrical zipper is awkward. the pocket on the small size is too small and when it is unzipped the larger side hangs kind of funny. I'd buy one with a centered zipper next time. The cool look is not worth the awkwardness. quality work and i love all ibex, but the zipper thing is just a little annoying.
I'm still feeling a bit apprehensive about this hoody. It's comfortable and warm overall but the sleeves are too long. Also, the sleeves are fitted so it's difficult to roll or fold them back, which is inconvenient when I'm cooking or washing my hands. The design with the zipper slightly to the side was a cute idea but looks a bit strange. The quality of the zippers is not great either. All in all
I was very excited to get this jacket but will be returning it unfortunately. I typically wear an XS in Ibex but found this jacket too small in the arms and the fabric does not have any stretch. I tried this on with just a short sleeve t-shirt and found the arms, particularly the forearm portion too tight even without sleeves underneath. The fabric had very little stretch so it was difficult to pu
This is not one of my favorite purchases from Ibex. The sizing seemed off and since I'd purchased the XL (normally, the XL size gives plenty of room of movement for me), there was nothing to move up to. I have athletic arms and shoulder (muscular) and the fit was just too snug to be something I would wear outside of the house. Overall, the fit was tight everywhere as well. I am hourglass to slight
Love the fit on the body and body length of the hoody but the arms are really long and you can't pull them up very easily since it's not stretchy. The thumb hole openings are pretty much at the end of my hands... I wind up cuffing the sleeves up twice. Besides that, it is soft and warm. The hood is a little funky and it takes a little getting used to the side zip, especially when worn unzipped. Seems a little more fashion than function.
I used the product for everything, from cycling to work to going out after. I used it for taking long walks with the dog to layering up on non-windy days in the winter. I hiked through South America with it, and that's when it started to fall apart on me with rips behind the hood, around the cuffs by the wrists, the thumb holes. I would have bought them in every color, if I thought they would last
I will just flat out come out and say it, this fleece sucks. I do not care how many women say they love it, the design on it is horrible. I mean i understand that you are trying to make the women's model stand out and make it cool but it just does not work for functionality. One pocket is smaller then the other due to the crocked zipper. When the jacket is not zipped up and opened the one side is
