Position Summary:

This position, the Controller, will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of the company. Much the same as many high-growth and entrepreneurial organizations, Ibex has done a great job building a market reputation for superior product while also developing a loyal brand following. The organization maintains a product-centric bias that is equally balanced with an emphasis on brand-building and operational execution/service. Ibex is poised to take advantage of a multi-channel distribution model that includes, wholesale, international/distributor, corporate and two flagship retail locations. The business has grown dramatically over the past several years and experienced all of the excitement and challenges that are typical for this phase of development. The Controller will be an integral part of a dynamic, high-growth organization that is part of an industry sector—natural fabrics and merino wool—that is still in the early years of consumer adoption.

The Controller, reporting directly to the CFO, will support the leadership team in management all core operational functions that support the Ibex mission—Finance, HR, IT and Operations. The Controller will be responsible for the management of all regular finance tasks and supporting the CFO in the leadership of the Finance team. This position will also play a key role in developing and refining Ibex’s director level leadership team. As Ibex continues to grow, there is an increasing need for our organization to be led at all levels.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CFO in all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations
  • Provide leadership and coordination with the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company
  • Maintain a financial reporting system with controls and standards to safeguard company assets
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reports
  • Manage marketing collateral
  • Hands-on design/ layout development and execution in coordination with outside graphic designers.
  • Comfortable with both traditional and interactive online media.
  • Provide quality assurance on all creative deliverables while maintaining project deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining a team rapport with marketing group & project managers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the timely and accurate processing and recording of financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearend financial close
  • Manage administrative support departments, specifically AR, AP and Credit
  • Annual physical inventory and valuation
  • Manage Sales Tax reporting
  • Budgeting and financial analysis
  • Manage cash flow analysis
  • Provide financial support and guidance to executive team
  • Help translate critical financial information to all levels of the organization
  • Comply with bank, governmental, investors, and CPA reporting requirements and requests
  • Support the CFO in all bank, governmental and investor relationships
  • Act as point person on all audits
  • Develop operational systems to support the growing needs of the company

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on Controller level responsibilities in a small to medium sized company
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or similar experience
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Expertise in NetSuite Software highly desirable

Senior Product Developer - Ibex Headquarters - WRJ, VT

Position Summary:

The Senior Product Developer, working under the Development Manager, is responsible for executing development and commercialization of product from initial concept to final production tech pack. They will act as a bridge between Designers, Materials, Vendors, Quality Control, and Production to complete projects within the company’s published timelines, costing and spending goals. S/he will expand upon and uphold the highest standards for quality, function, fit and garment construction done in the most environmentally friendly manner. S/he will work on a variety of products such as base layer/outerwear/accessories, with a strong focus on cut and sew knitwear.

Broad Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to build and maintain specification packages for product both domestic and overseas. Including Bill of Materials, technical illustrations, grades, and maintaining historical comments.
  • Responsible to critique all proto, sales, and pre-production samples against tech pack specifications for fit, sewing quality, and functionality through product lifecycle. Partners with Designers to critique design accuracy pre-Sales Samples
  • Partners with Designers to identify relevant new construction processes and technology as well as with Production to determine how Company can effectively utilize and implement manufacturing technology breakthroughs.
  • Evaluates the accuracy and quality of Ibex fit and grades against industry standards. Analyze customer returns through all channels to optimize fit, function, and quality.
  • Partners with Materials to coordinate samples for in-field product testing. Recruit and manage in-field product testing on Ibex ambassadors and report results to team.
  • Support Production team with new factory evaluation and development.
  • Supports the implementation of new processes and procedures to improve product specification process workflow.
  • Coordinates spec packages, patterns, and samples through all stages of product development within project timelines.
  • Schedule fit sessions with designers and developers.
  • Evaluate target costs and negotiate costs from vendors to align with seasonal margin and retails goals. Cost engineer garments with Designers to meet targets.
  • Supply marketing technical illustrations and feature information for use in trade/consumer communication. Proof read for accuracy, for any on-product communication (e.g. workbook, hangtags, packaging, website)
  • Acts as product expert consultant to support QC team at production.
  • Partner with Designers but assumes primary responsibility on seasonal trim development.
  • Manages, maintains and constantly seeks to improve the trim and hardware library.
  • Maintain accuracy of Internal PLM systems.
  • Travel to seasonal Trade Shows.
  • Participate in seasonal Design Reviews.
  • Contribute to biannual design retreat for creation of seasonal color palette and line structure.
  • Travel and participate in seasonal Sales Meeting preparation and presentation.
  • Articulate clear daily communications on all details of trim and product development with designers, developers, production, and vendors.
  • Active participant in weekly team meetings and comprehensive reporting.
  • Attend technical training classes and seminars to enhance knowledge of assigned area.

Requirements

  • Computer skills: experienced in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, Word, ERP, and PLM.
  • Demonstrated understanding and proven experience in product development from concept through successful commercialization, Sales Sample, and Bulk Production.
  • Strong knowledge of understanding of cut/sew quality standards, including raw goods, finished parts and final product assembly.
  • Proven record of working with knitwear cut and sew products..
  • Knowledge of pattern making and understanding of technical manufacturing issues.
  • Extreme attention to detail required.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of product and material costing.

Seasonal Warehouse Associate

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate is responsible for the picking, packing, distribution and complete fulfillment process for both Direct and Wholesale sales channels. This position will run from October until early March.

This position is located in White River Jct, VT

Broad Responsibilities:

  • Pick, Pack and Distribute Direct to Consumer and Wholesale Sales Orders utilizing the latest technology and processes.
  • Restock Pick Bin Locations from the Returns Departments and Overstock locations.
  • Assist in Receiving Inventory.
  • Use Hand Held computer during fulfillment process.
  • Load, unload, move or store items according to delivery and/or supervisor instruction in timely, safe, responsible manner.
  • Cycle and Full Inventory Counting.
  • General Maintenance and Recycling.

Requirements:
