Seventeen.5 Balance:

Each piece of Balance Seamless is knit on state-of-the-art Italian knitting machines that were made exclusively to knit seamless garments. Knit stitches can be changed within a garment to create body mapping which is a way to add additional comfort to each piece. We use 17.5 micron wool blended with just enough lycra for support and a next-to-the-skin body fit. Our sport tops have been tested and rated for support and size. Using wool in this medium has been the ultimate challenge. The resulting benefits of broad temperature regulation, natural odor-resistance, support, and overall comfort have proven beyond our original expectations.

How Do I Determine My Size?

We recommend a general body measurement guide to determine your size in Ibex clothing. This sizing chart is not garment specific, but in fact a body measurement chart. Here are some helpful hints when measuring:

Bust/Chest: relax arms at sides, keeping the tape parallel to the floor, measure the fullest part of your bust/chest
Waist: keeping the measuring tape comfortably loose, measure around your natural waistline
Hips: standing with heels together, keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part of hips
Sleeve Length: a 3-point measurement, standing with arms relaxed and slightly bent at sides, measure from the base of the neck to the shoulder and then from the shoulder to the wrist bone, add together measurements
Form-fit: garment designed to fit snug to the body throughout
Semi-fit: garment will be contoured to the body
Regular-fit: garment will not be slim, but also not oversized
Relaxed-fit: garment drapes loosely on body

I stole my son's shirt
Like a good mom, I bought this for my son. He uses every weekend when snowboarding. It's his first, and sometimes only layer. He loves it. It keeps him warm, wicks moisture and is super light weight. It's really a summer shirt, but a great minimal layer for winter too. Of course it can also be used all summer for running and working out. Realizing the potential for my year round fitness walks, I

Again WOW!!!!
I was looking for a new baselayer and found this! I'm not sure why it is not rated higher. I have tried many synthetic bases and it is amazing how well it works with trail running in the cold. Now, i am excited about trying this in the heat. My initial thought was that is was a little pricey, but it is well worth it!!

please bring the Balance series back
Softest baselayer yet. Best form fit so that the sweat doesn't run down the small of one's back.I wear the Balance baselayers in the tropical heat and humidity. The fabric is delicate, but that is what makes it perfect for hot weather use and is no trouble when machine washed within a mesh bag and flat dried. PLEASE MAKE A SLEEVELESS VERSION! (please :-)

Best T
What makes this terrific is the fabric, which is light, comfortable, and itch-less. I agree that it is form-fitting and runs small. I usually take a large in ibex tops, but I prefer an XL in this. But I compare it with the Woolies base layer, which is also form-fitting: this is hugely more comfortable and more versatile. The Woolies is really only a base layer, and relatively itchy, while this seam

I am starting to get man breasts and beer belly. This shirt does not hide much. I should have paid more attention to the form-fitting description.

Way too small
This goes beyond form fitting. I own a fair amount of Ibex clothing all of it in a Men's XL or XXL. At 6'5' 250 lbs The XL fits me well and the XXL is too baggy. This shirt however, takes form fitting down to a whole new level. It's more like diminutive. My wife's roughly a foot shorter & 125 pounds lighter and the Balance T Men's XL fits her like a dream so at least it's not a total loss
