There are those times when post winter adventure, you may find yourself still wearing a warming layer in the ski lodge, at the base camp, in the car ride home. We dressed up the Woolies 150 Crew in a stylish stripe for a bit of flair. (We changed none of the Merino wool performance, form fit cut, or unrivaled durability.)

How Do I Determine My Size?

We recommend a general body measurement guide to determine your size in Ibex clothing. This sizing chart is not garment specific, but in fact a body measurement chart. Here are some helpful hints when measuring:

Bust/Chest: relax arms at sides, keeping the tape parallel to the floor, measure the fullest part of your bust/chest
Waist: keeping the measuring tape comfortably loose, measure around your natural waistline
Hips: standing with heels together, keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part of hips
Sleeve Length: a 3-point measurement, standing with arms relaxed and slightly bent at sides, measure from the base of the neck to the shoulder and then from the shoulder to the wrist bone, add together measurements
Form-fit: garment designed to fit snug to the body throughout
Semi-fit: garment will be contoured to the body
Regular-fit: garment will not be slim, but also not oversized
Relaxed-fit: garment drapes loosely on body

my favorite base layer below a quaterzip or a close fitting top on its own.
Joe Merino on Jul 27, 2016
i luv merino wool, breathable and comfortable next to skin, thin enough to add an additional layer without being oppressively warm.

i usually wear a woman's medium but find a men's small often fits really well for my long arms and broad shoulders (for a girl)

base layer is good for wearing on fire assignments. does well at mild to cool climates at high altitudes. Plus, the anti-microbial properties do well when I don't have access to laundry. It also does well regulating body temp at high altitude mild to cool climates. I sweat like crazy and cotton at those temps doesn't do me any good.

a great evening summer weight top.
Sumner evenings along the Northern Michigan Great Lakes water calls for a bit of warmth, and this top does the job. Wear it under a short sleeve t-shirt or a light weight vest for those sunset over Lake Michigan into the dwindling late summer sky.

I want more.
The most comfortable, versatile layer ever made by anyone anywhere. I can't think of a better endorsement. If I were running for office, I would bribe people with these.

so sweet!
so love this thing...have loved "normal" woolies for a while and the stripes are so cool. I wear it under just about any S/S shirt all winter for a bit of "hip" and a lot of comfort. I'll seriously wear these until they fall apart. My new favorite Ibex piece

Better than I thought!
Let me just first say that out of the box this shirt is a work of art. The online picture doesn't do justice to the actual colors (no offense to the website, it just might be my monitor) I bought the shirt on salee through the website. I am about 5'7'' 155lbs broad shoulder and long torso. I ordered the small and it is a snug fit, but that is what I am looking for in a baselayer so I was happy. I used it this weekend at Jay Peak in VT. 60mph winds at the top, this baselayer and a midlayer and I was perfect. Being from NH I also love that Ibex is a local company. Would recommend and buy again.

great product
I don't know what the last reviewer is talking about. They are thin and very soft so you can't expect them to wear like canvas but I have two of these and they are in constant rotational use. I see no issue with durability.. I love them!

give me more
I wear this under button-down shirts and sweaters when it's cold out and also as a base layer for backcountry and downhill skiing. I love that I can wear it many days without stinking, which means less to pack on trips. Will definitely buy more next year.

The Woolies 150 are comfortable, fit well to the body, cozy on a cool rainy summer day. I look forward to wearing all of my Ibex clothes.

possibly the best shirt ever made...
the magic shirt: never smells, even after aggressive biking in the hills of SF, looks at home anywhere, always gets compliments, way too comfortable for words. buying this shirt is like an investment in happiness. In other words, the t-shirt equivalent of the shak.

Another great Ibex product
fit and size makes this a great base layer for hiking or just out walking. One of many great products I own. Thanks and keep up the great work.
