All About The Wool
Wool Type +
Smooth and comfortable, Overdyed Heather fabric is an evolution of our 18.5 micron jersey fabric made softer by the overdying technique. With a weathered look signature of the process, OD fabrics are used through Ibex casual Live line.
Benefits of Wool
Wool garments offer substantially more protection from UV exposure than traditional summer fabrics, like cotton.
Wool draws moisture away from the skin and evaporates moisture, regulating body temperature in all conditions.
Ibex wool products naturally include antimicrobial properties, keeping your garment odor-free.
Wool fights off weather and dirt and prevents stains, making Ibex easy to wash and easy to keep clean.
Because Ibex is made from very small micron diameter fibers, our garments are extremely soft and comfortable.
The craftspeople who are involved in every step of the process–from the sheep, to the spinners, to the sewers–are carefully hand-selected.
Because we use wool–a natural and renewable fiber– Ibex is good for you and good for the Earth.
Ibex wool garments resist heat. They don’t hold a flame and won’t melt like synthetic fabrics and fibers.
We recommend a general body measurement guide to determine your size in Ibex clothing. This sizing chart is not garment specific, but in fact a body measurement chart. Here are some helpful hints when measuring:
Bust/Chest: relax arms at sides, keeping the tape parallel to the floor, measure the fullest part of your bust/chest
Waist: keeping the measuring tape comfortably loose, measure around your natural waistline
Hips: standing with heels together, keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part of hips
Sleeve Length: a 3-point measurement, standing with arms relaxed and slightly bent at sides, measure from the base of the neck to the shoulder and then from the shoulder to the wrist bone, add together measurements
Form-fit: garment designed to fit snug to the body throughout
Semi-fit: garment will be contoured to the body
Regular-fit: garment will not be slim, but also not oversized
Relaxed-fit: garment drapes loosely on body

For a $90 tee shirt, you'd think these shirts would have a sophisticated cut; that's not the case. I got a small and it fit kinda baggy and the crew neck collar curls forward at the adam's apple area cause it was cut too narrow. Fabric quality and color seems fine.
Perfect fit until I washed it in cold water and line dried. Now shoulder seam is 1/2" up from where the shirt was comfortable. Bought it for cycling and worn for six days on the road, perfect. Now, not so perfect. I own two of your tight fitting shirts both long and short sleeve. I was expecting this to less tight fitting
