Herringbone Stretch Wool:
Benefits of Wool
Wool garments offer substantially more protection from UV exposure than traditional summer fabrics, like cotton.
Wool draws moisture away from the skin and evaporates moisture, regulating body temperature in all conditions.
Ibex wool products naturally include antimicrobial properties, keeping your garment odor-free.
Wool fights off weather and dirt and prevents stains, making Ibex easy to wash and easy to keep clean.
Because Ibex is made from very small micron diameter fibers, our garments are extremely soft and comfortable.
The craftspeople who are involved in every step of the process–from the sheep, to the spinners, to the sewers–are carefully hand-selected.
Because we use wool–a natural and renewable fiber– Ibex is good for you and good for the Earth.
Ibex wool garments resist heat. They don’t hold a flame and won’t melt like synthetic fabrics and fibers.
We recommend a general body measurement guide to determine your size in Ibex clothing. This sizing chart is not garment specific, but in fact a body measurement chart. Here are some helpful hints when measuring:
Bust/Chest: relax arms at sides, keeping the tape parallel to the floor, measure the fullest part of your bust/chest
Waist: keeping the measuring tape comfortably loose, measure around your natural waistline
Hips: standing with heels together, keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part of hips
Sleeve Length: a 3-point measurement, standing with arms relaxed and slightly bent at sides, measure from the base of the neck to the shoulder and then from the shoulder to the wrist bone, add together measurements
Form-fit: garment designed to fit snug to the body throughout
Semi-fit: garment will be contoured to the body
Regular-fit: garment will not be slim, but also not oversized
Relaxed-fit: garment drapes loosely on body

Perfect pair of pants. Look good, fit well, comfy, warm. Keep the longer inseam - you can always shorten the pants if you have short legs, but you cannot make them longer. That's one of the reasons I like Ibex stuff - you actually don't cheap out on the length of pants and sleeves.
I bought these for my husband for his birthday (that and whiskey). Now, he wears them pretty much every day...and his b-day was 3 weeks ago. He gets lots of compliments on them. His office is casual, but these dress up decently with a belt and buttondown. They are unique looking pants. We live in Wisconsin and bike commute through the winter. These pants are warm and flex with movement, two necess
I have owned these pants for one month and worn them 28 days since their initial wash. I can wear them bike commuting at 5 degrees and windy and stay warm, yet they are totally comfortable at the office. the stretch built into the fabric is very nice for being active. I hate grabby pants on my bike, and these feel perfect with the stretch and gusseted crotch.
I was really looking forward to receiving this pair of pants. They fit perfectly in the waist, however the inseam is very long. I will have to take them in and get them tailored so I'm not stepping on the cuffs.
I decided not to keep these, so can't comment on "performance," but the fit and finish of these pants is really disappointing. The seams are of the "overlapping" type that Ibex used to use on work shirts and that you see on cheap surplus wool pants.
These fit better than surplus pants, and would probably be better for skiing in, but I wanted something I could wear around and then jump on a pair
