How Do I Determine My Size?

We recommend a general body measurement guide to determine your size in Ibex clothing. This sizing chart is not garment specific, but in fact a body measurement chart. Here are some helpful hints when measuring:

Bust/Chest: relax arms at sides, keeping the tape parallel to the floor, measure the fullest part of your bust/chest
Waist: keeping the measuring tape comfortably loose, measure around your natural waistline
Hips: standing with heels together, keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part of hips
Sleeve Length: a 3-point measurement, standing with arms relaxed and slightly bent at sides, measure from the base of the neck to the shoulder and then from the shoulder to the wrist bone, add together measurements
Form-fit: garment designed to fit snug to the body throughout
Semi-fit: garment will be contoured to the body
Regular-fit: garment will not be slim, but also not oversized
Relaxed-fit: garment drapes loosely on body

Both my daughter and I wear these all the time in winter. They are fantastic for layering, but still look cute alone with a scarf.

I wanted a long sleeved warm layer. But this one is itchy and tighter than the one in black.the black is soft and looser.

I have a Woolies 150 Crew Stirpe in orange that I used almost daily for field work in Greenland. It got stained with wine and I want another to wear in the winter to work.

Classic, should have liked lower neck, but not available. Think of making shirts with lower neck line, so they don't show.

I have one in black and I wore it all winter long. Love the long sleeves for my long arms and the seams on the shoulder allow full motion and are flattering. I bike to work in chilly, coastal air, and wool is the best at keeping me warm and comfortable.

cute, and
Cute stripes, but fabric is scratchy and the neck is so high and tight it is uncomfortable around my neck. Ordered xs for my 5'2" 106 slim frame.

Great color!
Love this top, the color is definitely a rich chartreuse. The only negative is the neck opening seems a little tight, but not too tight to bother with returning. I'm sure I'll wear it out!

Excellent top
I love this top and have worn it to work and on the weekend as a layering piece. I also wear it around the house because it is so comfortable. I agree with the reviewers who say this runs a bit small. I typically wear a medium but ordered the large and am extremely happy with the fit.

Returned this item - two sizes were too small
I was really interested in having this top, but it did not work out. I own a size S in the women's 220 Woolies crew, so I ordered a S in this 150 crew. It was too tight, sleeves were too short, and top was too short. So I confidently returned it and ordered a M, thinking that there was a difference between the 220 and 150. However, the M was still short on the sleeves and short on the body, so I disappointedly returned it. I will stick with the 220 style in the future, which I love.

close-fitting base piece
This shirt fit well and was a great layering piece. The only downfall for me was the tight band above the wrist. The sleeve was so tight there that I couldn't roll it up and I often roll my sleeves up when I'm doing the dishes, washing my hands, etc. So back it went. Wish Ibex would ease up on the ends of the sleeves.

how did I ever live without Ibex before?
These are the best for a layer closest to the skin - lightweight and incredible smooth and warm. It doesn't get better than this!

I love my woolies
Love it

I love this long underwear!
I used the sizing chart to order this and the fit is perfect--like a glove, with no areas of any kind of tightness. The top is cut to conform to a body shape, rather than to stretch around one and because of this, it is very comfortable. It is true that the wool does not itch. When it is cold out, I wear this under cotton pajamas to sleep in and under the walking clothes that I use for my walk

love 'em - i own two
I purchased a size large when I'm normally a medium so that is that it wears more like a shirt and less like a base layer. I am very pleased.
November 13, 2010
This is perfect under clothes for an extra layer. As my hands are always cold, the only improvement would be to add extra long cuffs with holes for my thumbs.
