How Do I Determine My Size?

We recommend a general body measurement guide to determine your size in Ibex clothing. This sizing chart is not garment specific, but in fact a body measurement chart. Here are some helpful hints when measuring:

Bust/Chest: relax arms at sides, keeping the tape parallel to the floor, measure the fullest part of your bust/chest
Waist: keeping the measuring tape comfortably loose, measure around your natural waistline
Hips: standing with heels together, keep the tape straight and parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part of hips
Sleeve Length: a 3-point measurement, standing with arms relaxed and slightly bent at sides, measure from the base of the neck to the shoulder and then from the shoulder to the wrist bone, add together measurements
Form-fit: garment designed to fit snug to the body throughout
Semi-fit: garment will be contoured to the body
Regular-fit: garment will not be slim, but also not oversized
Relaxed-fit: garment drapes loosely on body

I have the half gloves that I use if i am piping to keep my hands warm. I wanted something similar to cover all my fingers!

These gloves have held up well for 2 winters now in Western Colorado for daily use around town, on long ski hikes, and they do well in cold, active downhill skiing. They keep some insulation even when wet being wool, and dry quickly. I have not been uncomfortable in as low as -10 degree weather when I wear these and put my hands in my down jacket pocket. These, along with the knit Watchcap, have become proven, simple, lightweight, and functional gear. They really are worth the cost.

Like how wool performs for keeping you warm when even sweaty.
Guest S on Jan 5, 2016
I picked these items because I love Merino wool. I have never purchased Ibex products before; but, the web page information and reviews make me believe they produce a quality product. I live in Wyoming, where it has snowed in town every month of the year, depending on the year. Merino wool is the way to go when winter is typically 9 months of the year. Ya gotta love snow, snow games, wool, and gortex, as we do.

I like wool gloves and these look like they will allow for some finger movement. I also have some wool fingerless gloves (Barbour) which are great except when I go for long walks or scrape ice off the car.

Gifted a pair to a family member who loves them. Time for my own.
Travis P on Oct 17, 2015
I bought a pair of these several years ago and the tips wore out. My fingers were getting very cold, so I bought them again. I use them when riding my bicycle and photography in the cold (although these are not specific camera gloves). Metal tripods in the cold are extremely cold, but these gloves are perfect.

I wanted to see how much better pure wool would perform than the usual fleece products. Have high hopes!
Susan H on Oct 7, 2015
I choose this in hopes that wool would keep my fingers warm on long runs when its raining
Josh M on Oct 7, 2015
This is just a great pair of gloves! The sticky grip makes them good for cycling in cold weather. They are breathable so I can leave them on when I start to warm up. My dog ripped my last pair that were from a different company so I was excited to find almost an exact replacement here!

Needed some driving gloves that are easy to put on. I'm hoping they are not too big, as a I wear an xs in Ibex mittens.
Jacqueline M on Jun 16, 2015
These are the most versatile glove I know for cycling in weather from 30-50 degrees as well as cold weather running. They are perfectly warm across a broad range of temperatures. Also, they maintain good dexterity to grab food out of my pockets and not feel like I am going to crash, as well as index my Garmin screens.

Does the grip allow smart phone usage?
Jaybee on Jul 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The grip is simply a grip. It does not have the conductive fibers that allow for touch-screen smart phone use. The only glove I know that Ibex has sold that had this feature were merino glove liners that had embroidered logos on the fingertips. I tried them and they were uncomfortable because the embroidery created a hard spot at the tips of my thumb and fore-finger.

Great Gloves!
A great pair of gloves. Thick enough to be warm, but not so big as to be unwieldy - a good balance. Paired with Ibex Glove Liners would be warm enough for any winter sport in extreme temps.

very warm, soft, tough
a great glove for all but the coldest days. much warmer than i thought they would be.

Love These!
I use these for everything from winter driving, going to the dump, cleaning my car off, shoveling, wood, hiking, and mountain biking. The grip is great! The warmth is perfect and the red color is visible enough to wear hiking during hunting season. I love these! There is nothing bad about them and I am going to buy another pair just in case they are discontinued.

Sweaters for your hands!
Excellent wool glove feels like putting your hands in some nice sweaters. Rubberized logos provide adequate grip & the knit lets just enough air in to breathe. Be warned that the large size is really huge!

Toasty!
....perfect for walking around on cold (bay area cold) days - not super rugged or burly or warm - but good for medium cold days....

world's best driving gloves
I have had two pairs of the black gloves - lost all but one of the four gloves so I love the red ones, less likely to loose them!!!! These gloves are so great for driving.

Great lightweight gloves for biking
I use these for fall and winter biking in Massachusetts. I have very good circulation in my hands and get over-warm in most heavy-duty winter gloves. These are the perfect balance for me for any cold weather, and work well for my husband on chilly but non-arctic days. They also fit perfectly under my gel-soled fingerless gloves, so I can be warm, padded, and have a great grip.

Good fall weather gloves
The fall is great but in New England the mornings can be nippy so these are a great addition to my gloves and mitts
October 28, 2009
So far, I like these too, & would buy them again, as well
These gloves are warm & meet my needs well. The price was in a good range. They were easy to order, arrived in a timely way, & were as described online. The workmanship is good. The ibex texture on the palm makes them a good driving glove. They are heavier than my smart wool gloves, making them good for colder days & they have more wool in them than the cheap smart wool gloves available now. have not used them long enough to comment on durability. I would recommend them to a friend.
