These pants are super-thick wool and super-warm. A must for Fairbanks winters if spent outside. Plus they were a steal to boot!

They are now my only ""long johns""
One word....Amazing! This base layer is always the base of only 2 layers.
Cycling and running as low as 25 degrees so far...on the beach. Dog walking rain or snow. I truly use it a lot. No pilling, strong seams, no signs of wear.
Nice wicking ability, never have to remove before that infamous chill.
Perfect for fall and winter especially when the sun is not up yet or already down.

Why wear jeans in the cold?
I bought these to be substitutes for Woolies when I want to wear very warm leggings this freezing winter. I've found that I wear them constantly: as leggings with long sweaters, when working in the house, to the gym, etc etc. Super comfortable and not so tight that you're hanging out. Bought a second pair for when these eventually make their way to the wash machine!

Great Long Janes
Ok, after I ordered these during one of the coldest, snowiest winters in Maryland in a long, long time - it warmed up. However, our nights are still cool. I have actually been using these as pajama bottoms with a woolie long sleeve top - soooo much better than flannel pajamas on a cold night! Keeps me so much warmer and breaths better than cotton. Maybe we'll have another cold winter and I can

Not your itchy sourdoughs.
I was a bit uncertain about getting these, but now I've relegated all the silks and polypro bottoms to the back of the drawer. The Long Janes are a wonderful mid-weight and so soft--absolutely no itching. I wear them tele and xc skiing under softshell pants--not too hot for active sports, but warm enough to keep me comfortable on days in the teens. Legs are long, so all you tall girls should still

My favorite longies!
I bought these because I love my Roaster Boxers so much. Same marvellous quality, longer legs! In fact, the leg length is fabulous, not too short. I've worn these as running and biking tights, and under jeans and work clothes. They don't catch on my pants, they don't pill, and they have survived many trips through the washing machine.

great legging
I would call this midweight long underwear. A great weight, could be a legging under something else. Expected quality and construction. These relegate my Icebreaker lightweights to backup status. I'm living in these this winter. I went down 1 size for a snug fit.

Love these Long Janes!
I love these long janes so much that I bought a pair of long johns for my husband and am going to buy a pair of the 3/4 janes too. They fit beautifully and are great under regular pants as well as sports gear like ski pants and waterproof sheels. I use them mostly for cross country skiing and sitting around the fire with a long sweater. I especially appreciate the normal waistline. With so man

Wind Chill? What Wind Chill???
These rock my world - I wear them under almost all of my pants come winter in VT. When it is a balmy 3 degrees out and the wind chill drops the temp to a bitter 17 below zero, well I just don't even notice. These keep me warm and stylish - they fit under all pants, regardless of how fitted the outer pants are, leaving me looking great and feeling even better!
